Going to Aurora
Chicago games surprised me with how ready the crowd was to get involved. Friday night we had a huge stage set up with lights and everything, about the size of the satellite stage at Lilith Faire and we only used it for half the set because somebody (Jeremy? Nelson?) had the idea of going down and playing an acoustic show in front of it. By the third tune people had begun to dance around us in the circle the crowd had become and we were all having a great time under the moon and stars on a cool midwestern night.
Today the games-provided hotel runs out so I’m going to Aurora to good old Motel 6. Bohemian Rhapsody plays in the background.
